At 6'10" 255 lbs., what separates Adam from other Power Forward / Centers from The 2014 NBA Draft Class are his strength, his ability to block shots, his ability to be an effective screener and his ability to finish above the rim. Adam played his college ball at Marist, where he blocked 225 shots and had 825 rebounds over the course of his collegiate career. During his Senior season (2013-14), Adam averaged 10.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. His best game came against Fairfield, when he had 20 points, 19 rebounds and 5 blocks. Adam's best game of the 2012-2013 Season came against Iona, when he had 29 points, 16 rebounds and 7 blocks. Over the course of the season, he had six doubles-doubles and had at least one block in 25 of the 28 games. Since the 1997-1998 season, Adam's career 2.1 blocks per game rank 5th in the MAAC Conference. In 2014-15, Adam was offered a contract by the NBA Development League, but later signed to play in the Balkan League, with KK Feni Industry Club in Macedonia, where he averaged 12.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. After the season Adam played for The Detroit Pistons in NBA Summer League. In 2015-16, Adam signed with Astana Club in Kazakhstan to play in Euro-Cup competition.
