At 6’10” 255 lbs., what separates Aly from other Power Forward / Centers in The 2016 NBA Draft Class, are his strength in the Low Post, his skill set on the perimeter and his high BBIQ. Aly played his college ball at Cal State Bakersfield, where as a Senior (2015-16), he led the team to The NCAA Tournament, averaging 13.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1 block & 1 assist in 28 minutes per game. His best game came in the First Round of The NCAA Tournament, when he had 16 points & 8 rebounds against eventual Final Four team, Oklahoma. Aly garnered first-team all-conference honors and was named first-team in The WAC Tournament. In 2014-15, Aly was the teams leading scorer (13.9) and second-leading rebounder (7.2) in 29 minutes per game. Aly also played for the Egyptian National Team in The 2015 FIBA Africa Championship.
