At 6’10” 250 lbs., what separates Dane from other Power Forward / Centers from the 2009 NBA Draft Class are his size, strength and foot-work in the Low Post, his ability to block shots and willingness to sacrifice his body as a help-defender. On offense, Dane is a traditional Power Forward / Center that excels with his back to the basket, but he can also step out and make a mid-range jump shot consistently. Dane played his college ball at Hofstra University, where he averaged 7.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in conference games. Dane had his best career game against George Mason, when he had a near triple-double (14 points, 12 rebounds & 8 blocks). The 8 blocks were the third-highest single-game total in school history. Dane finished his Senior season (2008-09) with 64 blocks, two shy of the single-season school record. In 2010-11, Dane played for BC Naglis Palangos in the Lithuanian LKL League, where he averaged 14.6 points, a league-leading 10.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game, which was the 2nd most in the league. Dane shot 59% from the field and finished 3rd in the league with an Efficiency rating of 19.5. As a result, Dane was chosen to participate in the LKL All-Star Game. In 2012-13, Dane played for Anibal Club in Lebanon, where he led the league in blocks with 3.6 per contest. In 2013-2014, Dane signed with the Essaouira Club in Morocco, where he averaged 14.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 24.0 minutes per game. In 2014-2015 Dane signed with Avila in Spain where he averaged 12.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks a game. Later that same year Dane signed with Humacao in Puerto Rico's BSN League, where he averaged 10.7 points, 8.1 rebounds & 0.8 blocks in 28.7 minutes per game. In 2015-16, Dane was invited to participate in Training Camp with The Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League. He later signed with Hanau Club in Germany (Pro A), where he averaged 6.5 points & 5.3 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.
