At 6'9" 235 lbs., what separates Kadeem from other Forwards from The 2015 NBA Draft Class are his high-motor, his NBA athleticism, his ability to score efficiently in the paint, his range, which extends beyond the NBA 3-point line, and his weak-side shot-blocking. Kadeem has NBA bounce and an NBA ready-body. He has the versatility to switch and guard both Post Players & Wings in many P&R situations and he is a highlight-reel finisher in transition. Kadeem finished his high-school career as a 4-star rated prospect by and the #7 ranked Power Forward in his class. Kadeem played all four years of college ball at Rutgers University, where during his Senior season (2014-15), as a team Captain, he averaged 13.0 points, 6.4 rebounds & 1.2 assists per game, while shooting 31% from three-point range. His biggest games of the season came in wins against #4 ranked Wisconsin, when he had 20 points & 4 rebounds and against Vanderbilt, when he played all 40 minutes and had 20 points and 8 rebounds. His most productive game of the season came against Manhattan, when he had 24 points, 9 rebounds & 3 blocks. Kadeem was also an All-Big 10 Academic Team Honoree. In 2015-16, Kadeem had a pre-draft workout with The Brooklyn Nets. He later impressed scouts at the 2015 RBA Showcase at Basketball City in NYC and as a result, was invited to participate in NBA Veterans Camp with The Indiana Pacers. Kadeem was later assigned to the Pacers NBA Development League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, where he averaged 5.5 points & 3.3 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per game. Mid-way through the season, Kadeem was traded to The Reno Big Horns, where he shot an incredible 61.5% from the field (43.8% from 3) and 93.3% in the playoffs. Kadeem averaged 10.5 points & 4.8 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per game. His biggest game of the season came against the Bakersfield Jam, when he had 28 points (7-10 FG & 12-14 FT's) & 11 rebounds. Kadeem finished the 2015-16 season with an eFG of 59.4%, a PIE of 12.2 and a net rating of 6.0. Kadeem was also invited to participate in The NBA Development League Elite Camp in Chicago, featuring the top 40 NBA prospects from the NBA Development League. Kadeem will be playing in 2016 NBA Summer League with The Detroit Pistons.
